This course explores the relationship between curriculum development and the child's growth process. This course prepares individuals to be successful in the role of a Lead or Head Childcare Teacher in an early childhood setting. You will thoroughly examine curriculum planning, parent involvement, child observation, activity selection, child guidance, and professional development in a developmentally appropriate early childhood environment. This class is one of the requirements for all Lead or Head Teachers in Group Child Care programs.
